Blagdon Hall

My tribute to Blagdon Hall Northumberland and it`s occupants. Situated near where I live this stately home owned by the Ridley family is rarely open to the public except for occassional charity days, when it is it is worth a walk around it`s grounds.
In my panting I have illustrated the history and present with a series of images in the clouds; the face of the 3rd lord Ridley who  in the 30`s built a racing car to beat manufacturers speed records and Northumberlandia, a landform sculpture on family land.
The painting is done with acrylic on a 22 x 16inch canvas
