Large hand painted zero angle woodland scene coaster

After having the ceramic coasters produced I wondered if I could make the product more naturally. After trying to prouce a slice myself I turned to a nearby sawmill for my supplies. Two sizes were procured; 9/10cm & 11/12cm. These are the larger. 
My aim was to give an outdoors looking up feeling to a person sitting having a drink. First a circle guide was painted in , then a very liquid sky was left to flow as it dried. A light green treeline  was then painted in, various tree shapes were then painted in with a darker green to give a sense of perspective. As with the smaller version my intention was to put a fully leafed forest but I was stopped by a customer who wished to purchase one with tree trunks. Then came a request for "creams & purples, this inspired me to finish the woodland scene with dots of colour around for flowers & small butterflies in the sky. I now offer various versions. Please state preferances when ordering.  
When I did my first prototype I was amazed to see the image projected up the side of a pint glass of water which I had placed on it.
