The Robin Hood

When I head west on my bike exploring the north east I like to take the "millitary road" alongside hadrians wall. This gives some spectacular views of the north, the hills and forests and some characterful buildings. One of these of note is "The Robin Hood inn". On one such trip I stopped to take a photo, a few month later I decided to see if I could do the scene justice. I also included a rainbow that wasn`t there to illusrate how happy the area makes me feel.
The painting done with acrylics is on a 12 x 16 inch canvas and is currently mounted in an ornate wooden frame
